BEYOND RECALL AND DESIRE, installation with teddy bears made from x Rays, photographical fragments, black and red ink, 2004, Imagine Gallery, Beijing, China
It was a site-specific work that had its starting point in the gesture of filling kitchen gloves with black ink and hanging them on a rope. It included Teddy-bears silhouettes made from wire-net and from red organza, fragments of digital images and words connected by transparent pipes filled with red and black ink that were composing a drawing -like installation.. It was my comment on the idea that when you do not remember one thing, the desire for that thing is suppressed.
It included a " drawing on the wall" site-specific part of the installation made from Teddy-bears silhouettes made from X-rays. The silhouettes were going up and down in a similar way with a nervous piece of writing that was hold together on a horizontal line made from a string of red marbles.
It was part of a show at Imagine Gallery, in Beijing.
